Thoughts and musings, nothing serious

Lotion

I love lotion. I have so many I can’t keep up. There are so many lovely scents. I love the smell of baby lotion, especially on a fresh out of the tub little one. Neutrogena is one of my favorites. The sesame seed one, perfect for a light scent on a perfume free day. And Eucerin, where would I be without them. The cream is so wonderful for really dry skin. Aquaphor is a dream for cuts, chapped lips and diaper rash. (http://aquaphoruses.com/) And a new one, quench is nice, I am always looking for a lotion with Shea butter and plenty of it, not just a 1%. Cetaphil for the scent free or sensitive skin days. I love the oil lotions after a long bath, the thick cream lotions for dry heels, the light, quick dry lotions for after hand washing. I love them all. (Except this new ridiculous fad where all the beauty supplies smell like fruit. Who decided that attracting bees every time you go outside was a good idea? Good grief, in a world of increasingly obese individuals, not smelling like food 24 hours a day would seem like a rather obvious first step. Nothing like being on a diet, and washing your hair with passion fruit, conditioning with mango and lathering up with strawberry lotion. Oh, let’s not forget the cookie batter smelling candle……)

Ok, back to topic, lotion. I do love so many and have a bottle handy in almost every room of the house. My problem, I hate putting lotion on. Bottles everywhere and I want to buy more. Not sure if I am lazy or if it is the greasy feeling hands afterward. Maybe the jiggle of my jiggly places as I apply. I am not sure. I know, it makes no sense. I could exhaust myself analyzing it, so I won’t. Just sharing my struggles.
