Lizard

Not sure if this is an experience shared by many others but on Sunday as my husband was preparing the meal, grilled tritip, he reached into the freezer and pulled out a dead lizard in a baggy. Now, the shock on his face was hilarious, but more surprising was the lack of shock he saw on mine. I am with the kids everyday, and I thought I had a pretty good grip. I find it odd that I have no memory of the lizard, it seems like a memory that owuld have stuck with me. It did, however, seem like it should be there. My oldest the scientist of the family is probably the culprit. Just another casual moment in a house full of kids. Would not trade those little surprises for anything.
