Squeeze, rub, groom and done!

“Squeeze, rub, groom and done!” Yes, this is my lesson for the day. My first lesson I am adding to my journal (blog for today), documenting for future generations to read. I have decided to keep a journal of all the things I learn. Maybe it will be something I can someday pass on to my children and they will thank me for my infinite wisdom. Yes, as a Mother of three these are my ambitions. And yes, I do recognize that this is neither a new, or an original idea, and that it will as most new years resolutions, fall by the wayside before it even gets off the ground. Yet, I persevere!!

So , “Squeeze, rub, groom and done!” I am sure you have seen the commercial, “Squeeze, rub, groom and done!” I hate to name the product and help with endorsements in any way, so lets just say it is a carpet cleaner P.O.D.. Now I am not sure just where to begin my tirade, I prefer to keep it short mostly because I think the…uummm “stupidity” of the product as well as the catch phrase speaks for itself. But I feel the need to let the world know that I personally have no connection to this commercial, product, company or marketing firm. I feel the need to express my remorse at having a connection, however remote, to the species that claims credit for the marketing of such a ridiculous product. No, I could not stop the airing of such a commercial, yes, I would have laid down my life to stop it, and yes, oh, yes…….I am ashamed to be a part of a society that would allow such a travesty. So let me leave you with my deepest and most sincere apologies. And may I offer words that may also carry more wisdom than the commercial so that I may set myself apart and yet equal to the individuals making all the money, “Sit, squeeze, wipe and flush……..”
